vintage feathers

i spent the whole weekend hiking, date nighting, and VINTAGE SHOPPING.  yes, this GEM is a product of the melrose trading post on sunday. holy frick.  i saw it and said i'm in love.  i believe i said it out loud and the masses of hipsters looked at me like i was crazy... but come on really.  i got it for 40 bones... yes a bit pricey for vintage and it being literally smashed onto a rack that was so full it looked pregnant on the ends... BUT that is when you find the best stuff... i came across a few other gems, but nothing as fantastic as this.  my other purchases will appear in posts to come... let's just say it involves my astrological sign, tie dye, and fleetwood mac...

  1. Definitely a great find, and your week does sound like it was a good one!
    I completely agree that the price of an item should reflect the shopping experience. If someones got a well edited and organized shop, I'll pay a little more than when I've got to rummage through piles of stuff in a bin.

  7. I don't do much vintage shopping but you must've been so pleased with that find. I hate searching through racks of clothes because I simply don't have the patience. But a lot of my friends do and I'm always jealous of what they find! Lovely dress, looks great on you!
