just got back from new york this morning at 1:00am.  my flight was delayed.... ugh.  

so, im increasingly disappointed with topshop.  i've gone both times i've been in new york, and i'm not finding anything worth spending money on, besides this UNBELIEVABLE beaded jacket... but i'm sorry, i CANNOT afford that.  i was also super bummed out that the jewelry vendor that has a stand across the street from kidrobot on prince st. wasn't there!  i wanted to buy this studded bracelet... one of my bosses has one, and i'm obsessed... maybe next time...

however, i did buy a pair of thigh high boots, at work...  they are actually amazing!  i don't fold them over like the picture shows, and they hit the top of my thigh... they are perfection.

i'm also obsessed with this cheap monday coat dress, i think i'm going to make some purchases...

sorry my posts have been few and far between, it's been really hard (that's what she said), in between traveling,  working, and trying to have a life... i'll try and post more often though, promise.

fog and feathers

i love the rain, and cloudy weather... it's such a nice change to the southern california heat... i was born for overcast, cloudy weather... and so was my wardrobe ;)

so... can we please talk about these robert cavalli thigh high leather boots, for a second?  after a very thorough cleaning/purging of my closet on saturday night (thanks, allie!)... b and i went to crossroads in newport beach to sell a bunch of my stuff...  well, i walked in a sat down, i try not to look while i'm waiting because then i will use all the money, back in the store... anyhow, b looks up and goes, "those boots are a janee yamamoto special."  i look up and there they are... roberto cavalli thigh high boots.  the right one is embroidered with a eagle that has a snake in it's talons, and it's got feathers all over it... they are amazing... it takes me FOREVER to get them on and off... but it's all worth it in the end.

b and i went to amber and ashlie's show on Saturday night at 4th st. vine, in long beach.  it was amazing!  they had such a great turn out, and amazing pieces, and the wine was perfection.  

next week, i'm off to ny again!  hopefully i'll have a little time to myself to go explore and get lost in a vintage shop in brooklyn...
